Shark Fishing in Jupiter Florida

Lagoon Challenges in Martin and St Lucie County

As we ease into fall the Indian River Lagoon faces yet another ongoing challenge.  Our moderate summer rainfall has been replaced with an abundance of rain as of late.  The Big O fills.  The Army Corp talks of releases.  Wildlife shudders at the thought.

Magestic Bald Eagle surveying the Indian River

I was returning from an appointment in Hobe Sound yesterday when low and behold, I spotted this beautiful Bald Eagle perched in a tree over looking the Inter-coastal canal.  I think it's been a decade since I last saw one of these in the wild.  Wish I had my 35mm with me.

Pirates Invade Treasure Coast

In a Pre-Dawn Raid pirates invaded the Treasure Coast.  First sitings were reported by a local Fisherman in the Manatee Pocket.  There is a fierce battle going on in Port Salerno for Treasure Coast Nuggets.
